I try to reply to every comment we receive and they give me great ideas about future video topics that you might like to see, so let’s check out what type of info you’re looking for. 10) So let’s first deal with the elephant in the room. Where did the replies go? What’s going on? Well, I did reply to every comment but since we changed the name of our YouTube channel from Water eStore to Gary the Water Guy in the fall of 2019. Whenever you change the channel name, YouTube automatically transfers the comments, but not the replies! 9) Sometimes I get comments from viewers who have some great suggestions on how to improve what I show in the videos. Bonus for you! 8) Often I’ll get questions about using alternate methods and if they would work! 7) The videos are designed to be a resource library so that you can watch them over and over each year for example when you need to change your UV lamp or filter. 6) Most often the questions I get are for clarification. I try to keep the videos moving and to the point to keep my viewers engaged but sometimes I skim over a point so it’s a great opportunity for you to ask in the comments and section below each video. 5) Often I’m asked about a viewers particular water filtration equipment and when possible I can personalize my response if I know the make and model number. 4) Occasionally I get comments questioning my motives, like what is my agenda. Really I am just simplifying water treatment and talking about what works and what doesn’t. Yes, I have a business that sells the products I talk about but I don’t make videos about products that are substandard. 3) Sometimes I’m asked questions that are too technical for me. I try to answer them in real world everyday language but if pressed, I’ll just tell you thqt I don’t know. 2) Most of the times the questions are about how to make something work for a viewer. Usually that involves me linking to another video of mine or some products to give some examples. 1) My favourite comments or questions are the ones that lead to a solution for the viewer, often saving them a service call or making them feel confident about their next water filtration investment!
