Your Air Over Media iron & sulphur filter like our HUM FOB, FOC or FOK needs to hold the air bubble in the top of the tank for it to work properly to oxidize your water. That air bubble is held in place by this check valve, water flows in, but air does not flow out. Iron can build up within the check valve stopping it from sealing the air in but fortunately it is easy to replace. Order Check Valve herehttps://waterestore.ca/products/clack... 1) Bypass the iron and sulphur filter. 2) Start a regeneration to release the internal pressure. 3) Disconnect the drain line, if it goes up, there will be some water flowing back so capture it with a bucket. 4) Disconnect the valve from the bypass, again catching the water. 5) Pry out the old check valve and replace with the new one. 6) Reconnect all removed items. 7) Regenerate your iron filter and check for leaks.
