Most boaters are tired of carrying jugs of water for their boat, this kind of a system will take lake water and make it safe to drink. Primarily of interest to boaters that are out travelling on several days or weeks at a time. These systems are available in 12 volt, so they work particularly well on most boats. Space is always a consideration so be sure you check the manual for the system dimensions and measure the space you have available. These systems are very easy to install because the filters and UV are one unit. The next consideration is capacity or flow rate, be sure not to undersize the system for the flow rate you require.
