This Genuine LUMINOR BLACKCOMB RQ-210 UV Replacement Quartz Sleeve is the replacement sleeve for LUMINOR BLACKCOMB UV water purification systems LB4-021, LB5-021, LB6-021, LBH4-051, LBH5-051, LBH6-051 series

The quartz sleeve keeps the UV lamp from shorting out and maintains the lamp's ideal operating temperature. Mineral build-up hinders the lamp's effectiveness, so if  the sleeve cannot be 100% cleaned, it needs to be replaced.  It is recommended to clean the UV sleeve at least annually and have a spare UV sleeve available, which is an easy do it yourself replacement.
