The Hydro-Cure Sediment/Carbon filter is an economical solution for reducing sediment, chlorine, taste, and odor (CTO) in potable water applications. Built with a dual-gradient design, this filter uses two distinct filtration zones for improved performance. The outer 25 micron sediment zone captures larger particles first, while the inner 5 micron sediment and CTO carbon zone targets finer particles and helps improve water taste and odor.
These filters are manufactured on state-of-the-art production equipment using a computer controlled process to ensure reliability and performance.
The dual gradient design allows for optimum dirt holding capacity and reduced pressure loss. With two distinct filter zones, larger sediment particles are trapped and filtered out in Zone 1, and smaller particles are trapped in the carbon block of Zone 2. The tighter matrix of Zone 2 also provides exceptional strength, eliminating the need for a separate center core.
