See how easy it is to do the annual UV lamp replacement on a HUM Safe Water 10 Ultraviolet Disinfection System for your family! Check this out! When the change lamp indicator starts flashing on your HUM Safe Water 10 Ultraviolet Disinfection systemhttps://waterestore.ca/products/hum-s... it's time to change the lamp. 1) We need to unplug the controller and let the lamp cool before replacing it. 2) Shut off the water before and after the system. 3) Unscrew the nut at the top of the cap, pull the end off and pull the lamp out. Unscrew the collar at the top to remove the sleeve. To clean up the sleeve you can use vinegar or sealer. If you can't get the sleeve clean, you'll have to replace it. 4) Sleeve goes back in and tighten it. Just hand tight. Make sure to handle the lamp only with a cloth or at the ceramic ends. Slide the lamp in and then reconnected. Make sure to line up with the four pins. 5) Tighten the nut at the top. 6) To reset start by pushing the button on the front while you're holding it down. Apply the power. You'll get one long beep and three short beeps. 7) Then turn on the water supply. Open up the outlet valve. 8) Slowly filling up the system once it's full, and you've got no leaks, you can open it up all the way, open up the outlet valve. 9) Run some water in the house to flush the filters and get rid of the air. 10) You're good to go.
